Rainfall over an inch recorded in Highland Lakes

Mother Nature rained more moisture on the Highland Lakes area Monday night with the Marble Falls area recording the most rainfall.

According to LCRA Hydrologic Data, Marble Falls collected 1.31 inches of rain overnight, while Burnet recorded 0.84 inches; Kingsland, 0.74 inches; and Llano, 0.57 inches.

The Buchanan Dam lake level sits at 1,007.14 feet, or 12.86 feet below the norm. Lake Travis is holding 679.38 feet, just 1.62 feet below its full level of 681 feet.

The forecast for Wednesday shows that the highs will be in the 60s and for partly sunny skies.
