KVUE News has learned a water rescue on Lake Travis near Devil's Cove has turned in to a recovery search.

According to the Travis County Sheriff's Office says an adult male in his mid-30s jumped into about 30 feet of water from a privately-owned house boat Monday afternoon. Authorities say the man resurfaced quickly after his jump but then went back under the water and has not been seen since.

Multiple rescue crews responded to the scene.

Investigators do not know of the man was wearing a life jacket or if alcohol was involved.

Search teams will continue their recovery efforts Tuesday morning.
