Austin power outage restored

Officials with Austin Energy said power has been restored to all customers in the downtown area. Crews rerouted power to customers without power to other working circuits. Power was knocked out to about 4,000 Austin Energy customers Wednesday evening. Those affected have been in the central core near downtown Austin. A spokesperson for Austin Energy says, 3 circuits were affected when a substation transformer tripped offline.
