Boys and girls, it’s time to play a little game that I like to call “Cool/Not Cool.”

Cool: For its game tonight against the Texas School for the Deaf, San Marcos Baptist will don pink jerseys. And folks, I have seen a picture of these jerseys and they are very pink. The Bears are wearing the jerseys due to a partnership with the Central Texas Medical Center.

Not Cool: I got an e-mail on Thursday that was promoting the fusing of high school athletics and Fatheads. At first I thought, “This is exactly what people need, a giant high school football helmet next to a bunch of cutouts of Chad Ochocinco and The Jonas Brothers!!! There is no way that any of the local programs would associate themselves with something THAT tacky.” Wrong, wrong and wrong.
