Quarterback Michael Brewer's playing status for Lake Travis' home game against Kerrville Tivy tonight remained uncertain on Thursday.

Nursing a shoulder injury he suffered Sept. 3 against Hendrickson, Brewer sat out the Cavaliers' 14-10 loss to Aledo last week, a defeat that snapped Lake Travis' 48-game winning streak. Cavs coach Hank Carter said Thursday it will be a "game-time decision" about whether Brewer and injured receiver Tanner Gillette will play. Gillette has been sidelined by a groin injury.

Tivy (3-0) defeated Cibolo Steele 54-45 last week as Antlers quarterback Johnny Manziel, an Oregon recruit, threw for 428 yards and six TDs and rushed for 130 yards and two scores.
