After the signature Aquapalooza event on Lake Travis last weekend brought more than 84,000 boaters together to hear country artist Brad Paisley, Lake Wylie hosts another Sea Ray Aquapalooza event from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 24.

The afternoon at the Power Squadron’s Merit Mark Point on Lake Wylie’s Beaver Dam Creek includes entertainment from Category Five and food provided by Sea Ray at Lake Wylie Marina.

In addition to the entertainment and hundred of boaters enjoying the Carolinas Boating Lifestyle, there will be a special boating demonstration. Lake Wylie Marina will present the Boston Whaler 15-foot Montauk, which has been sawed in half by a chainsaw to see if the boat will float or sink. The demonstration will continue throughout the day starting at 1 p.m.
