Rescue swimmers pulled a man from Lake Austin Sunday.

Officers say the man was boating with some friends near the Pennybacker Bridge. He was swimming from one boat to another when he went under the water and did not surface.

A nearby patrol boat was called to the scene and the officers found the man in about five feet of water.

They started CPR and took the man to the 360 boat ramp where they were met by EMTs.

He was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge and his condition is unknown at this time.

Officials say he was under the water for more than 15 minutes.
