Michael Brewer fired five touchdown passes and ran for a sixth score and Andy Erickson scored five times as the state top-ranked Cavaliers (4-0) overwhelmed the Kangeroos in Killeen.

Killeen struck first in a wild first quarter, Rodney Brown scoring on an 87-yard pass play from Michael Cummings. After Erickson tied it for Lake Travis on a 23-yard run, Cummings-to-Brown was in play again. This time Brown caught a 53-yard touchdown pass to make it 14-7.

Erickson retaliated on a 62-yard score from Brewer, and Brewer closed the first-quarter fireworks with a 17-yard run to make it 21-14.

Lake Travis hung up another 21-spot in the second quarter, and this time Killeen could only answer with one more Cummings-to-Brown TD toss.

Brewer finished 23 of 28 for 386 yards and was also the Cavaliers' leading rusher with 62 yards on 7 trips. Erickson had 189 yards receiving on six catches. Brewer's scoring tosses covered 62, 13, 58, 9 and 40 yards.
