First responders recovered a body found floating in Lake Travis, Monday evening.

Austin police say a woman called 911 at 7:50 p.m. to report a body floating in the water near Emerald Point Marina. Austin-Travis County EMS says the victim is possibly the swimmer who went missing on Saturday. While the Travis County Sheriff’s Office says they believe the body is the missing swimmer, that will not be confirmed until the medical examiner has made a positive identification.

The fire department used a boat to retrieve the body and authorities are now waiting for the medical examiner’s office.
