Austin-area lake levels continue to rise

With a record-setting year at ABIA for rainfall, and Camp Mabry with it's second-wettest year all-time, in 2015-Lake Travis and Buchanan have risen, and continue to do so.

From the LCRA: Right now Lake Travis is at 676.98ft*msl, which is 9.9ft over the historical average of 667.05ft*msl for January. Travis is at 93% full according to the LCRA. Lake Buchanan is at 1,012.13ft*msl, which is 1.7ft. higher than average, at 1,010.44ft*msl. Lake Buchanan is currently 81% full.

The combined storage between the two is now: at 88% capacity of a total 2,010,000 ac-ft! The water temperature in Lake Travis is currently at 59 degrees.
