Central Texas is in for a mostly sunny and hot day, with highs in the upper 90s slated for the region, according to the National Weather Service.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, for example, will see a high of 98 degrees today, the service said. Meanwhile, the region closer to Johnson City could see a high of 99, the service said.

There’s also a slight, 20 percent chance for rain today, and into tonight, the service said.

The low will reach 68 tonight, the service said.

We’ll get a slight break in the high temperatures tomorrow, the service said. We’re slated for a high of 92 Thursday, the service said.
