Dave Campbell's Texas High School Football Magazine is out on newsstands previewing the upcoming 2011 season with a pair of area teams listed in his coveted rankings.

In Class 4A Calallen slides in at number 15, while defending State Champion Aledo earns the top spot, followed by Lake Travis and then Denton Ryan.

The Wildcats finished 13-2 last season reaching the State Semifinals, and will return 9 starters. Phil Danaher though will have to replace Quarterback Tanner Sparks and star Running Back Buddy Wright.

Meanwhile in Class 2A Division 2, Refugio lands at number 4, with Paul Prewitt earning the top spot, followed by Idalou.

The Bobcats wrapped up the year 13-1 losing in the State Semifinals. Running Back Terrence Smith graduated but Jason Herring returns standouts Shiloh Whetsel and Draigon Silvas who each rushed for over 1,000 yards.

He also adds Baylor commit Lynx Hawthorne who combined for over 2000 yards on the ground and through the air at Weimar last season.
