This $12 million mansion is real estate proof of that tired Texas adage concerning the state’s penchant for all things enormous. The 11,100 square-foot, 6-bed/9-bath home was built in 1970 on almost a half acre of waterfront property on Lake Austin. Inside, granite and marble counter tops line kitchens and bathrooms and floors are clad in wood and stone. The master bedroom has cedar-lined walk in closets and four fireplaces are scattered about the rest of the house, which has a game room and a cozy bar and wine cellar. Outside, the estate has tons of landscaping, lake access via a private boat dock and a waterfall and swimming pool.
