This year's Austin Boat and Travel Trailer Show attracted big crowds. It doesn't hurt that Lake Travis and other area lakes are full for the first time in years.

The four-day event featured more than 300 boats and travel trailers, including kayaks and fast-speed party boats. Organizers also showcased high-end golf carts.

The Coast Guard Auxiliary was on hand, teaching boat and water safety lessons to adults and children.

Vendors say after the recent drought, attendance for the annual show dropped drastically. But lake levels are looking good this year, which organizers say is a big win for the boating community, and for Austin's economy.

"The boaters are out on the lake now. Everybody's here at the boat show,” said Steve Allen, Riviera Marina. “Lake Travis...all the hotels and surrounding businesses are going to reflect that. Versus the last five years of us just getting beat."

Sunday is the last day of the four-day event. If you missed it, you can catch the next show at the end of the month in San Antonio.
