UPDATE 4:45 PM: Travis County Sheriff’s Office officials say a body recovered in Lake Travis on Sunday is that of a man who went missing on Thursday.

Dilip Kumar Kanduri, 23, of Belton, was identified as the man whose body was pulled out of Paradise Cove Marina in the Hudson Bend area about 3 p.m. Sunday. Officials say he fell off a boat in the marina on Thursday evening.

Kanduri’s cause of death is accidental drowning, officials said.

EARLIER: Emergency crews are recovering the body of a man found in Lake Travis this afternoon, officials said.

A boater saw a body floating near Paradise Cove Marina in the Hudson Bend area about 3 p.m.

The man’s identity and cause of death won’t be known until an autopsy is completed, Travis County Sheriff’s department spokesman Roger Wade said.

On Thursday night, a man was hit by a boat... The man wasn’t found, and Wade said it isn’t clear if the body found today is the missing man.

“But I don’t know of any (other) missing swimmers in that area,” Wade said.
