Very light showers drizzled trace amounts to about 0.05 inches of rain through Travis and Williamson counties this morning.

And before we go on, don’t forget to set your clocks back an hour.

Now, back to the weather.

The National Weather Service expects possible repeats of very light off-and-on showers through Sunday and Monday. Austin’s light rain came between 7 and 9 a.m., dropping 0.01 inches of rain at Camp Mabry.

“That was just a little bitty upper-level impulse that pushed the showers southeast into the Austin area,” meteorologist Joe Baskin said.

The rain began near Llano, Lampasas and Temple, flowed into Travis and Williamson counties before soon petering out, Baskin said.

Temperatures will remain mild Sunday and Monday. Highs will be in the mid 70s for most of Central Texas, with the weather service predicting a high of 78 for Austin. Thick cloud cover will keep overnight lows in the 60s.

Baskin said a front will be pushing in Tuesday, upping rain chances to 50 percent.

And here’s some Revolver-era Beatles.
