House Park, Shoal Creek flood

Monday’s flooding caused the release of partially treated, disinfected or untreated wastewater from 10 Austin Water facilities. The city said the estimated volume of released wastewater is unknown at this time.

Since the wastewater has been diluted by heavy flooding, city officials do not believe it will affect public health or the drinking water supply.

Austin Water is monitoring each of the following facilities and city officials said more information will be released once data is available.
