The Lake Travis baseball team has never reached the state tournament.

They've been close on several occasions -- there's just always been one large hurdle standing in their way.

Corpus Christi Calallen. The Cavs have lost to Calallen the last two seasons.

They did manage to knock off the other Corpus giant, Moody, last
weekend.

Calallen and L-T will play a three game series in San Antonio. The winner punches a ticket to the Dell Diamond and next week's state
tourney.

The Cavs have proven resilient in this postseason, winning three series in a decisive game three.

Now they must find a way to finally clear the Calallen hurdle and they believe this team is ready to do it.
