The Lake Austin Spa Resort was recognized in Condé Nast Traveler magazine’s latest list of the top 250 spas in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

The local resort at 1705 S. Quinlan Park Road was ranked 19th among U.S. resorts on the list, just ahead of the Miramonte Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, Calif.; and just behind the Sundara Inn & Spa in Wisconsin Dells, Wis.

The ranking is not the first time the Lake Austin Spa has won national kudos. In 2006, it was named one of Travel + Leisure magazine's top 15 destination spas in the world. Also that year, Spa Finder, a consumer website and magazine, named the property one of the 10 best spas in the world for visiting solo, cuisine, fitness, cooking, water sports, yoga and interior design.
