Austin area sends dozens of atheletes across the U.S.

The announcements moved slowly, as rolling blackouts generated by the statewide severe cold weather affected National Signing Day ceremonies.

Pflugerville High School was the first to hold their signing day ceremony.
  • Running back Storm Woods is headed to the west coast, signing with Oregon State.
  • Safety Alex Matlock signed to play for Kansas.

Lake Travis High School
  • Connor Floyd is signing with Tulsa.
  • Taylor Doyle, an offensive lineman, signed with University of Texas.
  • Michael Brewer, QB, signed with Texas Tech.

Brownwood High School
  • Jaxson Shipley signed with University of Texas.

Hendrickson High School
  • Kenny Williams signed with Texas Tech.

Westwood High School
  • Zach Crawford signed with Texas State University
  • Grant Peterson signed with Rice University.
