Westlake posted two wins over Smithson Valley Saturday to advance in the postseason, despite lightning delays in San Marcos at Bobcat Stadium.

Lake Travis needed a walk-off balk to beat Hutto in a 4A regional quarterfinal game. The teams were scoreless through 7 1/2 innings at the Dell Diamond before a balk sent the winning run home and gave the Cavs a 1-0 victory.

Westlake dropped game one to Smithson Valley Friday, but rallied to take games two and three Saturday. The Chaps won game two 6-3 and then posted an extra-innings 4-3 win in the decisive game three.
