Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire in west Travis County Sunday.

At the intersection of Bee Creek Road and Lakehurst Road, a few miles south of Lake Travis, a 1,200-square-foot house was fully engulfed in flames.

According to officials, a power line exploded and fell on the house, igniting the fire. Everybody inside the house made it out alive. No word on injuries has yet been reported.

The house is reportedly a total loss.

Scanners reported that huge columns of smoke surrounded the area, while propane tank nearby was in danger of exploding. Fortunately, the tank did not explode.

Firefighters said they are also seeing spot fires across the road and worry a brush fire could develop.

News 8 will have more information once it becomes available.
