The area’s two best wide receivers are heading to Disney World.

Lake Travis senior-to-be Griffin Gilbert and Austin High’s Cayleb Jones will both participate in ESPN Rise’s Champion Gridiron Kings event. The event will be held from July 22-25 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.

The Champion Gridiron Kings event is expected to draw 64 non-linemen from across the nation. The athletes will participate in performance training, skill drills and a 7-on-7 competition.

A TCU commit, Gilbert had 74 receptions and 13 touchdowns last season as Lake Travis won its fourth straight state championship. Jones, who has verbally committed to the University of Texas, has hauled in 167 catches over the past two seasons.
