Forecasters with the National Weather Service continue to call for more icy weather this week, especially in the Hill Country. That front is due to move into the region early tomorrow morning, bringing with it some frozen precipitation, but mainly across the northwestern Hill Country and the far northern areas of the I-35 corridor, between Temple and Austin.

As the front develops, look for lots of low clouds and light rain, and because of more arctic air behind the front, there is a threat that some areas may see some light freezing rain or sleet as temperatures drop throughout the day tomorrow, with the biggest threat coming in the middle of the day, from 9am to 3pm, when temperatures will drop to near freezing.

For now, though, the threat area remains out of the Tri-County area, with Hays, Comal, and Guadalupe Counties avoiding any of the major icy conditions. As the forecast continues to develop, stay tuned to KGNB for updates, and log on to kgnb.am for the latest weather maps from the National Weather Service.
