Another Arctic blast is due to hit Central Texas by Wednesday, and the timing of our latest low-pressure system could mean a chance for sleet.

It's not a repeat of last week, but the chilly mass of air may have a potential for bringing some of those icy conditions back.

The whole event starts Tuesday evening as a slight chance for showers develops over the area. Then, a strong blast of cold air moves in overnight, and the mix could possibly create a little sleet for Wednesday morning.

However, it will be short-lived and is not expected to stick to area roads.

The rain will move out quickly, but cold air will stick around. Morning lows will dip into the 20s for Thursday and Friday morning.

Warm and sunny weather will return for the weekend.
