Fire danger high this evening

In the wake of a strong cold front that moved through our area this morning, windy conditions and very dry air will persist through this evening. A Red Flag Warning is in effect until Midnight. North to Northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph can be expected. Minimum relative humidities will range from near 10 percent along the Rio Grande to the lower 20s across the Coastal Plains.
