Lake Travis Fire RescueLake Travis Fire Rescue moved into its new administrative offices after their original offices on General Williamson Drive burned last August.

Since then, all the administrative functions, including the executive offices and fire prevention, have had to make do using a small space in one of the department's stations.

"Our other office was an add-on to an add-on," Assistant Chief Robert Abbot said. "It really showed us growing in various stages throughout the years. Fire administrators began the move about a week ago. They don't have any signs up yet but hope to remedy that soon.
