Sierra Patrick and Amy Neal slammed 11 kills each as unbeaten Lake Travis swept McNeil 25-21, 25-10, 25-16 in a non-district match Tuesday night.

Patrick added five blocks, three assists and two service aces .

Katie Beals had eight kills and 13 assists and fellow setter Cassie Wang contributed 17 assists.

Lake Travis (19-0), top-ranked in the TGCA Class 4A state poll, had a balanced attack that wore down a strong defensive effort by the host Mavericks, who fell to 8-9.

McNeil played point-for- point in the first game and led 21-20 before the Cavaliers scratched out the final five points for the victory.

McNeil used a tough defensive alignment with Kasey Decker, Gabby Owens and Sammy Snook combining for more than 30 digs.

Felicia Crockett led McNeil with 22 assists, Alex Hendee had eight kills and both Decker and Owens had five kills each. Katherine Pruneda had four blocks for the Mavericks.
