The lakes haven’t looked this good in years.

The Lower Colorado River Authority posted new video Friday of Lake Travis, which now sits just two feet below its historical June average. The video was shot Monday, when the lake was 77 percent full. Since then, the lake has gone up another 3 percent.

In the past 30 days, Lake Travis has risen a staggering 38 feet.

The water is so high that docks moved further into the lake during the prolonged drought are now floating several feet away from the shoreline.

While Lake Travis has benefited greatly from the recent rains, Lake Buchanan is still more than 17 feet below its average, despite water levels going up about seven feet over the past 14 days.

The combined water storage between the two lakes was 67 percent as of June 5.
