Flooding closes four roads in Lake Travis area

Because of flooding, four road closures have been reported in the Lake Travis area.

According to the ATX Floods website the following are closed:
  • Bee Creek Road at Bee Creek, Travis County (closed as of 6:43 a.m.)
  • Hamilton Pool Road at Pedernales River, Travis County (closed as of 10:08 a.m.)
  • 8300 block of County Road 404, Spicewood (closed as of 12:21 p.m. Monday)
  • County Road 406 south of County Road 404, Spicewood (closed as of 5:47 a.m.)
The Lake Travis Fire Rescue team is staffing an additional engine, for four total, due to current and forecasted conditions, officials said. Staffing will continue as long as conditions dictate.
