A man has been located by Austin-Travis County Emergency Services after he became tired and cold from windsurfing on Lake Travis, officials said.

Warren Hassinger, an EMS spokesman, said the man was out at the lake with his wife. A strong wind and cold front blew into Austin about 5 p.m., causing the man to become cold and tired.

His wife called EMS and he was rescued about 6 p.m. Officials say he does not have serious injuries.
