Lake Travis district to hold budget forum

Superintendent Rocky Kirk will host a public forum at 6 p.m. Thursday
on how the school funding crisis is affecting the Lake Travis district.
Kirk will touch on the district's enrollment history and projected
growth, the effects of the state's school finance law, proposed
legislation, administrative cost-saving measures and long-range
planning.
The meeting will be held at the Lake Travis High School Performing Arts Center, 3322 RM 620 South.
