University of Texas System regents will hear public comments May 13
on two conceptual master plans for developing the university-owned
Brackenridge tract in West Austin.
The session will run from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Ashbel Smith Hall, 201
W. 7th St.
The two plans, produced by Cooper, Robertson & Partners LLP, call
for converting the tract along Lake Austin Boulevard into a major
residential and commercial district to earn income for the university.
The plans are being reviewed by an advisory committee of three regents.
The regents’ chairman, Colleen McHugh, also will attend the comment
session.
The UT System has posted additional information on the session and
the plans here.
