A woman found dead in Lake Travis near Hippie Hollow park yesterday has been identified as Constance Christie, 65, a resident of Austin, officials with the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said today.

There is no evidence of foul play in her death, sheriff’s office spokesman Roger Wade said, and the medical examiner’s office has not made a final determination into what caused her death.

Christie was fully clothed when she was pulled from the lake near the 7000 block of Comanche Trail about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Wade said. It is unclear how long she had been in the water before she was found, he said.

Her vehicle, along with her identification was found near the park, he said.
