On April 8th from 6-8pm, Lift Cafe is proud to host Around Austin, an art series celebrating spring in Austin and the sights one might see during a causal walk around town. About the artists: With a background in graphic design, Jake Bryer combines digital mixed media photography and digitally altered photography to create Austin inspired art.

Joel Ganucheau's art ranges from acrylics to mixed media pieces. Joel explains why he creates art, "Making art is very therapeutic and necessary for me. I'm not sure where I would be without it." Singer-songwriter, Pake Rossi, will be performing original songs on acoustic guitar. His folksy-americana tunes are reminiscent of a young Merle Haggard or Rodney Crowell. He credits Johnny Cash as one of his main influences.
