Rescue crews recovered the body of a missing Lake Travis boater around 11:40 a.m., Monday.

Officials said the body was taken to the Travis County medical examiner and the name of the victim will be released at a later time.

The investigation into the Sunday night crash continues.

Emergency crews responded to a collision at Emerald Point Marina shortly after 9 p.m.

Rescue workers treated one male boater at the scene, but the other could not be located.

Crews halted the search after about three hours and resumed early Monday morning.

A Texas Parks and Wildlife game warden said the vessel hit a breakwater barrier and the low lake levels did not contribute to this incident.

"The breakwater barrier that the vessel collided with is a constant fixture out there", Austin Area Game Warden Captain Fred Churchill said. It's a floating barrier that protects the marina areas from wave action and it's something that has been here a long time.

Officials said cables connected to the barrier are causing some difficulty for divers in the search.

Investigators are trying to determine if alcohol played a part in the collision.
