The last of the 12 public boat ramps on Lake Travis has been closed due to low water levels. LCRA staff reported that trailers were scraping bottom while launching at the Mansfield Dam Recreation Area, and the ramp was closed to prevent damage to watercraft and launching vehicles.

Boat launch may still be possible from private marinas on Lake Travis. Boats can also be launched onto Lake Austin from Mary Quinlan Park.
