Dan Ciola has sold Ciola’s Italian-American Restaurant and its century-old recipes to Dave Staab because, he said, he could no longer give the personal attention he felt the restaurant deserved. The only remaining Ciola family member, chef Louis Ciola, will be stepping down in October. Chef Gordon Johns, comes to Ciola’s with 28 years of experience.

While few changes will be made, Sunday brunch will be available at Ciola’s starting in September.
