The Lake Travis Cavaliers have won three straight Class 4A State
Championships and now have their sights set on a State 7 on 7 title.
The
Cavs won their first three games in pool play Friday to advance to
Saturday's Division one championship round. Defending champion Stony
Point went 2-1, but fell into the consolation bracket.
Future
Texas wide receiver Jaxon Shipley led Brownwood to a Division two
championship with a 34-32 win over Cameron. And Belton quarterback David
Ash, another Texas recruit, was also in action.
