Memorial Service Set For Tuesday To Celebrate Coach Helduser's Life

A memorial service has been scheduled for Tuesday at 3pm at Grace Bible Church in College Station to celebrate the life of James Robert "Jim Bob" Helduser.
Helduser served as Texas A&M's offensive line coach from 2003-2007 and was an assistant coach at Bryan High School for the 2008 & 2009 seasons.
Jim Bob passed away on Friday after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a day shy of 53 years old.
Coach Helduser played football at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin and helped the Bulldogs win the NAIA National Championship in 1975. He graduated summa cum laude in May 1979 with a degree in biology.
He began his 31 year football coaching career at Rice University in 1979 and made stops at Alief-Elsik High, Southwest Texas State, Lake Travis High, TCU, Alabama, Texas A&M, and Bryan High.
Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 8pm Monday at at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan. A private family burial will be at Tuesday at the Aggie Field of Honor in Memorial Cemetery of College Station.
