Description

The Hills of Lakeway offers its Members two clubs for world-class golf in Austin: The Hills Country Club and Lakeway Country Club. Combined, these spectacular Austin golf clubs deliver some of the finest championship golf in Austin, Texas.

The Hills Country Club offers two stunning championship courses by world-famous, industry renowned Nicklaus Design. The Hills was the first golf course in Austin designed exclusively by Jack Nicklaus. Flintrock Falls, the second course, was designed by both Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II. No other private country club in Central Texas offers Members this extraordinary caliber of Texas golf courses.

As a Member of The Hills Country Club, you can perfect your game at the world-recognized Academy of Golf. Also designed by Jack Nicklaus, this is the first site ever created and constructed specifically for learning to play better golf. The Academy complex has a 500-yard learning center with target greens and three beautiful, championship Austin golf holes. Tom Kite ranks it as the No. 1 golf training and practice facility in the country, and itís the perfect place to hone your golf skills.

Lakeway Country Club features 36 holes of incredible golf in Austin played over two very unique layouts. Both the Live Oak and Yaupon golf courses offer various challenges with rolling hills, blind tee shots and tree-lined fairways.

Live Oak features a par-3 hole No. 3, commonly referred to as "Jaws." The hole plays 204 yards from the gold tees over a deep ravine that gobbles up any shot that falls short of the green. Yaupon features hole No. 18, a 503-yard par-5, playing downhill to a pond with a 50-foot drop in elevation. After successfully crossing the pond, you are challenged with an approach shot, which rises 40 feet to a tricky green.
